I am delighted to be able to announce that following the Governments latest update (23 June 2020) delivered by the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, Hairdressers and Barbers will be allowed to start work again as from Saturday 4th July 2020. I know this will be a huge relief for many clients but also for myself, many other hairdressers & Barbers.
However, we must all continue to be alert & aware that the virus has not gone away. Therefore prior to any service being carried out you will be asked a series of relevant health questions to ensure that you do not have any symptoms and have not been in contact with anyone who has had or is suffering from coronavirus within the last 14 days.
Hairdressers and Barbers will have to wear face shields to carry out any service. No additional face protection is required by the hairdresser or client. However, the client or hairdresser may feel more comfortable to wear an additional face covering if they choose to. See link below;
Regular hand washing and/or sanitising of hands is essential, to minimise the risk. Talking face to face should be avoided whenever possible. It is essential that clients respect the new guidance and advise me immediately if they have symptoms of coronavirus or become unwell. In addition clients will be informed if I experience symptons and/or come into contact with anyone who has symptoms of develops coronavirus within 14 days, following your appointment. In this scenario you will have to self isolate for 14 days and contact the Track & Trace system, to notify them of any person you may have been in contact with during this time.
As before, all tools and equipment must be washed and sanitised in between each client. Fresh clean towels and gowns will be used for each client and where possible disposable gowns will be used and disposed of between each client.
If you are attending my Home salon please ensure you leave your coat in the car whenever possible. Hand sanitiser is provided and must be used on entering and leaving the salon. Disposable and washable face masks are available for you to purchase at an additional cost.
Assuring you of my best attention at all times, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me either by telephone or email and I will do my best to help
